I'm Ian Murray. Founder and CEO of Down Under Travel. Aotearoa has nurtured five generations of my family, and has made me a proud and passionate New Zealander.
I have been privileged to guide thousands of overseas visitors around these stunning islands for over four decades, a role I continue in to this day.
All these folk have enriched my life immeasurably and I hope that in return, in some small way, I've managed to impart something of the warmth and the spirit that exists in the land that I call home.
I have no doubt that the sense of isolation, the lack of population and the magnificent, breathtaking scenery that this country posseses in abundance has imprinted itself indelibly on everyone who has travelled this way.
I'm really excited about these programmes in New Zealand that my team and I have put together. I believe that they deliver the very best, in every respect, of what Aotearoa New Zealand has to offer.
